Under Bridges

It's so touristy but one of my fave days in new york was taking the harbour cruise as included in our City Pass book full of adventures. One reason why probably was because we didn't have to walk or stand for a whole TWO hours! And two, because i missed seeing the water sooo much. We had a fabulously funny guide on our boat, we had a good history lesson, we laughed at his jokes, and we took photos of Nicole's (Kidman that is) apartment. The smart thing about taking the cruise is to sit in the shade. Cause the novelty of being outside in the open runs dry very quickly after you peak too soon with your camera taking, and you fall asleep in the heat. Pace yourself people, the cruise is TWO HOURS long.

I don't think i remember ever being in a boat and going under bridges. It was such a thrill. Growing up where i did and now being in Perth, we don't have the luxury of sailing under massive bridges and looking up from below. And we got to do that 3 different times. Insanely breathtaking.

hi vanessa! yes definitely do it, even tho it's THE touristy thing to do but if you haven't been to new york before, its a terrific way to see the city from a different view. 'Cos when you are in manhattan, you can't see very far away with all the skyscrapers around you. I would do it all over again!
