On Top Of New York

A fine way to say sayonara the big city tonight as we headed up to the Empire State in the darkness and bid the great lady farewell. Hell, even i got slighty nostalgic in the sea of people as i looked down to the massive blanket of lights and recognising the places i've been to. Fuelled by gazillion counts of calories from a massive hot fudge sundae and frozen hot choc at Serendipity 3 this evening, we trekked 28 blocks downtown to see our last attraction on the list. It was a perfect new york day, spent on the beach at Coney Island in the day, and in the heart of Manhanttan by night.

As i sit here checking my flight for saturday, I am starting to miss new york already. But I am ready for home.
