Home Away From Home

While in new york, we manage to score a great little times square apartment right in the heart of the brightest street in the world. It was bigger than i expected and very cosy. I loved to pop my head out in the morning and see if my jeans will be suited for the day's events. Many times throughout the night (as i slept on the sofabed), i would wake to hear the sirens go off and wonder who got murdered or shot, but towards the end of the trip, i slept thru' like a baby oblivious to the dangers of the city and living life like a true disinterested local.
We were surrounded by italian, japanese and chinese restaurants, many many street vendors selling bagels, pretzels, halal kebabs and Louis-es (LV) for US$10, I Love NY, FDNY, NYPD, City Jail tee shirt shops, and a hop, skip and jump away was the awesome Hershey's mega store.
