The Anticipated Shopping Extravaganza
Well, my time is almost up in the big apple, will be heading home this weekend. Am i ready to leave ... i think so. New York has been brilliant but the heat ... oh my, i miss the chills. Will i miss it here? Definitely.

I kept today a guy-free day to finish up my shopping experience in new york. While travel guys head to central park for a bike ride (how blokey!), i headed downtown to soho and east village to revist some of my fave shopping haunts. This will be the last time i will go shopping, i have seen it all, and bought everything i needed, and wanted. I'm full of happiness and content, new york has been good for my spirits. Bad for my wallet.
I've picked up everything from bags, wallets, tees, nail polish, wind-breaker, hat, beads, earrings, bangles, rings, pins, shoes, magazines (galore!!) and just when i thought i wouldn't ... i found a pair of miss sixty jeans today. Expensive .. hell yeah but as Mandina advised earlier, when in new york, forget about rationale.

While Travel Guys have been celeb spotting left, right, center ... all i have to tell is a could be B-Lister previously mentioned. Travel Guy #2 spotted "the ugly one in sex and the city" (i know, how RUDE and Cynthia Nixon is not ugly) yesterday on his way to meet us at Guggenheim, while Travel Guy #1 was in a Nike Store and found himself standing beside this huge tennis star. So huge i can't even remember his name now. (*edit : it was Roger Federer). And not to forget, the other day they saw Elisha Dusku, that chick from True Calling.
This is sooooo unfair.

I'm glad you enjoy your trip to the city
Oh, before I forget. Have you sampled the famous Magnolia Bakery's cupcakes at Bleecker St?
hey gals! nope i couldnt find the cupcake shop even though i walked along the street. Oh well, its ok since i'm not a huge cupcake fan. But today we finally found Serendipity 3 and we had a MASSIVE choc fudge sundae and frozen hot choc .... so massive we walked 30 blocks to Empire State after that!
